After upgrading and losing all cards, I restored the previous version of the app and scanned in the handful of loyalty cards I use. Just have to ignore the upgrade reminders. Works fine for me and I dont need to set up an account and give my info away.

This new version is horrible. It has now disabled itself. First of all it has 4 steps to get to displaying a card instead of zero (if you are using the last same card as last time). Secondly it nags you to create an account and give them all of your cards and untold personal information or the app will self destruct (which mine has done). It does not use iCloud, it uses their own servers so IT COULD BE A VEHICLE FOR IDENTITY THEFT. Beware of this app. It has gone from one of my "top picks" to "avoid". UPDATE: it is worse. There IS a privacy policy and it states that they WILL collect your personal information, tie it to anything they can get from other sources (PLUS ALL OF THE CARDS YOU HAVE STORED!) and use it for anything that they want! You can opt out of offers but you cant opt out of data collection.

Nothing sync...I can not keep some very provate cards porivcate - as cardstar wont allow it now...and that is very invassive!. Now waiting for some other new apps to fulfill my needs as these guys have screwed it up.

Useful app until the update that required setting up an account. Why would I want to store my cards online somewhere? At least make it optional. Id have paid for it before, now looking for an alternative.

Forces me to save personal data on there server. NO WAY.

This used to be a good app but forcing me to put my info in your cloud just results in me deleting the app

I had some cards saved, and when I downloaded ios7 , I lost them all. Dont you save these? I for have the physical card anymore because I ha it saved on cardstar...??

Previous version was reasonably handy, storing many cards and allowing some minimal organizing. The new update requires establishing an online account, suddenly making this look much more like a data harvesting machine. Also the new interface always leads with promotional material. I just want my card. Now looking for an alternative that keeps my data private and on my phone.

Needs the option when adding a new card that is not already in the directory (with a logo) to allow users to be able to take a picture of the part of the card With the logo (that has no personalized barcode) to make a logo for the thumbnail in the my card section. Which would allow users faster access when at the till.

It works for me at many stores. Im dissappointed with recent upgrades. Im not interested in making an online account, I only want the data saved on my phone. Dont force me to make an online account where you have access to all of my cards. Also, under accounts there are sections for a license agreement and privacy policy which are both blank; yet another reason I would not want to provide you with my data. I preferred when the app openned to my list of cards, thats what I use the app for; the offers and shopping lists should be secondary. Thanks

Thanks for this tool, but greatly despise the hammer approach forcing a user into the cloud. If I wanted to be a cloud dweller, I’d be a water droplet. Please remove this ‘feature’, as it is rather more annoying than appealing.

Why should we trust our info in your cloud? Hmmmm!

I should not feel forced or obligated to use your cloud. If I chose not to you just shut us out. Not right. This app was fine before. Its a great app but if there is no update to change the fact that I can choose whether or not to use the cloud. I will delete this app.

Whats the point when the codes wont scan. It takes more time to check out when the teller has to enter the number by hand.

App should disclose that it will render itself useless if you do not provide them with your info in the cloud. Frustrating waste of time.

I was quite happy with this app until it threatened me with only a few more uses before I was forced to create an online account for storage. Moving to "Key Ring" which (so far) has not required me to create an account.

Program never quite lived up to the hype - cards often couldnt be scanned but at least I had the numbers to give the teller. Now this update wants my info in the cloud and it sounded optional. Not so much, it is mandatory. Why? I only use it on one device so I dont care about cloud access. Definitely not signing up for their cloud which seems full on sketch security wise. And the app cant be used otherwise so deleting it is my only option. Bye-bye cardstar.

The recent update forces users to upload all their personal card data, or the app stops working completely. Seems suspicious to me. This bait-and-switch is unacceptable, so Im uninstalling it.

This works well and does what you want it to do.

Love this app, helped me condense my wallet!!! Love how the update auto brightens when you select a card!
