Lousy update ruined an ok program

Program never quite lived up to the hype - cards often couldnt be scanned but at least I had the numbers to give the teller.
Now this update wants my info in the cloud and it sounded optional. Not so much, it is mandatory. Why? I only use it on one device so I dont care about cloud access.
Definitely not signing up for their cloud which seems full on sketch security wise. And the app cant be used otherwise so deleting it is my only option.
